Rosary Students Recognized at Photography Reception
Rosary photography students chosen in Kane County contest
Rosary students again participated in the student photography contest sponsored by the Kane County RegionalOffice of Education this Fall. The nine-week contest for Kane County high school students ran from September 26 to November 21, concluding with a reception and gallery display at the Batavia Fine Arts Center on December 7.
Each week of the contest has a theme, and this year the top 10 photos were selected each week. Photos are chosen by the Photography Review Committee at the ROE. Each week received hundreds of entries; the work of Rosary artists were chosen for the top 10 in seven of the nine weeks.
Ms. Carolyn Krainak teaches photography at Rosary.
