Race Packet Pick-Up:
Packets may be picked up in Rosary’s foyer before the beginning of the race on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
The Start:
The Road Scholar Run Walk will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Participants will seed themselves according to their expected pace – runners up front followed by walkers and those with strollers toward the rear.
The Course:
This is a USATF certified course (IL-03012-JW). Residential streets will not be closed to traffic. Police and volunteers will be monitoring the course. Water station is located at the ½ way mark. Please no roller blades, bicycles or pets.
The Finish:
Refreshments will be available for participants to refuel when they have completed the race. Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the event. Awards include: individual top male, individual top female and first, second, and third place male/female by age grouping.
Age Grouping:
Awards will be given to the top three male & female runners in each group: 14 & under; 15 to 19; 20 to 24; 25 to 29; 30 to 34; 35 to 39; 40 to 44; 45 to 49; 50 to 54; 55 to 59; 60 to 64; 65 & over
