Incoming Freshmen Earn Rosary Scholarships

Twenty-seven incoming freshmen in the Rosary Class of 2027 have been awarded scholarships based on merit and the school’s entrance exam.
Due to the generosity of alumnae, friends and foundations, Rosary is able to offer numerous scholarships. A number of scholarships are named for donors and for past Dominican Sisters who served Rosary. The school also raises scholarship funds each Giving Tuesday in November/December, and these scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen scoring in the top 10 percent on the Entrance Exam from area Catholic or middle schools.

Alexa Chapski of St. Patrick Catholic School in St. Charles was awarded the Dempsey Family Scholarship.

Yaretzi Correa of St. Mary’s Catholic School in Plano was awarded the Sr. Marilyn Scholarship.

Madeline Ehrenberg of St. Mary Immaculate in Plainfield was awarded a Gerri-Anne Calbeck Memorial Scholarship.

Theresa Figueras of Holy Cross Catholic School in Batavia was also awarded a Gerri-Anne Calbeck Memorial Scholarship.

Nicole Fitz of St. Patrick Catholic School in St. Charles was awarded the Juriga Family Scholarship.

Lily Helfer from Holy Angels Catholic School in Aurora was awarded the Howard and Vera Feltes Scholarship and a Giving Tuesday Scholarship.

Caroline Hernandez of Jewel Middle School was awarded the Sr. Mary Joseph Scholarship which is presented to the daughter of a Rosary alumna based on Entrance Exam scores. Caroline is the daughter of Cristina (Renteria ’96) Hernandez.

Rachel Kowalkowski of Holy Cross Catholic School in Batavia was awarded the John G. and Marguerite Bryan Memorial Scholarship.

Madilyn McArdle of Pope St. John Paul II Catholic Academy in Aurora was awarded the Sr. M. Megan Farrelly Scholarship. 

Bella Rocush of St Mary School in DeKalb was awarded the Arthur Wiesbrook Scholarship as well as a Giving Tuesday Scholarship.

Leslie Sixto of All Saints Academy in Naperville was awarded the Carl & Marilyn Hess Scholarship.

Kayla Tineo of St. Rita of Cascia School in Aurora was awarded the Michael and Dorothy O'Brien Scholarship.
