Alumnae

Alumnae Association

Rosary graduates share a unique and special bond. The lessons learned and the friendships made through Rosary can last a lifetime. Alumnae continue to share their gifts with Rosary as teachers, staff members, trustees, donors, parents, volunteers, and more. Young women need role models to help them see the possibilities that await them as they go out into the world. Many of our graduates have returned to share their experiences in the work force and through service to the community.
All Rosary graduates are members of the Alumnae Association.  It is the goal of the Alumnae Association to:
  • Recognize the community and bond shared by all Rosary graduates
  • Support Rosary High School in its goals for the future
  • Finance the four-year Sister Mary Joseph Alumnae Scholarship

Alumnae Pledge

We, the graduates of Rosary High School, pledge to follow the light of truth, to uphold the ideals of Rosary, to support one another, and to become effective contributing Christian citizens by serving God and others.

How does the Alumnae Association help Rosary High School?

The Alumnae Association has raised more than $60,000 in support of Rosary High School. One of the most visible contributions of the Association is the lighted marquee board and Veritas shields which are now part of Rosary's front sign. Each day the events and successes of Rosary High School can be communicated to the public as they pass-by on Edgelawn Drive.

Sr. Mary Joseph Alumnae Scholarship

The Sr. Mary Joseph Alumnae Scholarship is supported solely by the fundraising efforts of the Alumnae Association. Each year the daughter of a Rosary graduate is awarded the scholarship based on her performance on the school's entrance exam. The four-year scholarship is currently valued at $8,000. Donations to the scholarship fund may be made online or by contacting the Rosary Development Office at 630-896-0831.

Get Involved!

The Rosary Alumnae Association meets on the first Thursday of each month. We are also looking for your feedback and to increase participation at meetings and events. Or, you can simply offer to volunteer for specific events that interest you. Watch the monthly newsletter for opportunities.
