The Rosary Alumnae Association collects warm winter items for clients of the Dominican Literacy Center in Aurora.
The Dominican Literacy Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching English and citizenship to the immigrant community. Both the Literacy Center and Rosary High School are sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois.
We will collect items at the school from November 1 through our delivery date of December 9. Look for the gift wrapped box near the office.
All warm winter items for children, men and women are welcome. Handmade or store-bought. Gloves, socks, hats, scarves, mittens, blankets, jackets and more.
Winter donations will be accepted in place of an admission fee at the Rosary Basketball Games on November 29.
Rosary High School is a Catholic, college-prep high school for young women sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois. Rosary creates a sisterhood of truth, faith and strength.
