Located at 2121 W. Indian Trail, the Vaughan Center pool will serve as the primary training and competition venue for Rosary, as the partnership provides student-athletes access to high-quality aquatic amenities while strengthening the longstanding relationship between Rosary and the Park District.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Fox Valley Park District and utilize the Vaughan Center pool as our home facility,” said John Rutter, Rosary’s athletic director. “This collaboration enhances our ability to train and provide our swimmers with an exceptional experience both in and out of the pool. We are excited to have access to such an amazing facility so close to our school.”

With balcony seating that accommodates 200 spectators, the Vaughan Center pool will also host Rosary’s annual Beads Invitational, a signature event held every fall that brings together high school swim teams from across the region. The facility’s modern amenities and spectator-friendly environment make it an ideal venue for the Invitational’s continued growth and success.

“We’re excited to welcome Rosary College Prep and the Beads swim program to the Vaughan Aquatic Center,” said Josh Barry, recreation superintendent at the Vaughan Center. “This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting local student-athletes and providing a high-quality environment for training and competition. We look forward to collaborating with Rosary and delivering a positive experience for their swimmers, coaches and families.”

Established in 1976, the Rosary Beads quickly produced championship-caliber swimmers, as 11 members of its inaugural team qualified for the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Meet. In the program’s 50-year existence, the Beads have won nine IHSA championships, including back-to-back titles in 2023-24 and 2024-25. Rosary has also collected five second-place and six third-place finishes.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to youth athletics, community engagement, and excellence in aquatic programming.
