Rocush '27 Earns Perfect ACT Score, Second Rosary Student This Year
Rosary College Prep student Isabella Rocush, of Waterman, has earned the highest possible composite score of 36 on the ACT test. Rocush, who took the test earlier this fall, is currently a senior.
This is a very rare achievement as only about 0.25%, or one-quarter of one percent, of students who take the ACT earn a top composite score, which is the average of their English, math, and reading ACT test scores. Rocush is the second Rosary student to earn this outstanding and unique honor this year, as junior Alexandra Jurado, of Aurora, was honored for her top score earlier this fall.
"The Rosary College Prep community is so proud of Isabella," said Amy McMahon, Rosary's Head of School. "This extraordinary accomplishment is a testament to her hard work, academic dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence. And having two Rosary students earn perfect scores this year really proves that the school is delivering on its college prep focus.”
At Rosary, Rocush is involved in Math Team, the Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, the National Honor Society, Model UN, and Stage Crew. Earlier this year, she was named a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist.
Rosary College Prep is a Catholic, college-preparatory high school for young women, sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois. Committed to truth, faith, and strength, Rosary fosters a community of academic excellence and empowered sisterhood.
