Nineteen Inducted into National Honor Society

Nineteen juniors in the Class of 2023 were inducted into the National Honor Society following the all-school Mass on April 20, taking their pledge and receiving their certificates from advisor Mrs. Sarah Hoying and Head of School Ms. Amy McMahon.

Senior NHS members received their gold tassels for graduation that signify membership in National Honor Society.

A reception followed for students and their parents in the library.

National Honor Society is a nationwide organization for high school students, and selection for membership is based on scholarship, leadership, service and character. The group performs service projects throughout the year, helps tutor fellow students, and sponsors school and community activities such as the Community Trick or Treat, Breakfast with Santa, and Easter Egg Hunt.

Students selected must have a GPA of 3.75 or above, 70 + service hours, leadership and character references, and score well on faculty evaluations.

Juniors inducted into National Honor Society are: Abby Cibulskis, Peyton Collette, Cecilia Drudi, Christina Ferraro, Jillian Ferraro, Elizabeth Figueras, Grace Fleming, Sarai Gutierrez, Delaney Hefke, Tes Ketterman, Abby May, Megan Molenhouse, Isabela Morales, Erin Murray, Chloe Ortega, Evelyn Precup, Margaret Smith, Emma Woodford, and Elizabeth Wronski.

Seniors NHS members are: Reegan Barr, Sophia Cousins, Macey DeMoss, Cassidy Eddy, Josie Jarmuz, Alex Kackert, Kayla Montes, Lauren Audrey Paschoud, Alyssa Rios, Ellie Schubert, Margaret Seraphin, Grace Stumm, Mia Szilage, and Cecilia Vietti.

NHS officers are: President Alex Kackert, VP Kayla Montes, Secretary Alyssa Rios, Treasurer Josie Jarmuz, and Media/Communications Reegan Barr.
