Students earn State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and French
The Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy is a recognition given by the State of Illinois to high school seniors who have studied and can exhibit the ability to communicate in two or more languages (including English) by their senior year of high school.
It is officially designated on a student’s transcript and high school diploma.
This year, the Seal of Biliteracy has been awarded to Macey DeMoss, Megan Lanan, Grace Loy, Mary Rose Regan, Alyssa Rios, Jacqueline Salamanca, Ellie Schubert, and Margaret Seraphin for proficiency in Spanish, and Lauren Audrey Paschoud for proficiency in French.
Receiving Commendations for their work in Spanish, also noted on transcripts and diplomas, are Carenna Blackwell, Ana Hathaway, Grace Stumm, Mia Szilage, and Cecilia Vietti.
Rosary World Language teachers are Mrs. Julie Jeppesen, Profe Katie Bruckner, and Madame Heather Cannon.
