"Mary Poppins" Tickets Now on Sale
Tickets are now on sale for our fall musical, "Mary Poppins." The Tony-nominated show runs Nov. 5-8 in Rosary's McEnroe Auditorium and features 40 Rosary and Marmion students.
Rosary College Prep will stage the musical Mary Poppins from Nov. 5-8 in the school’s McEnroe Auditorium, 901 N. Edgelawn Drive. Showtimes are 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5; 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6 and 7; and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8. Tickets, which are $18 for adults and $15 for children, students and seniors, can be purchased online at rosaryprep.org/musical.
For some added fun, adults (21+) are welcome to visit the Cherry Tree Lane Pub before the show and during intermission for wine, beer, and specialty cocktails. All pub proceeds will benefit the Rosary Fine Arts Boosters.
The show’s cast, crew, and pit orchestra includes 40 students from Rosary College Prep and Marmion Academy in Aurora. The directing staff includes Rosary teacher Laura Biancalana, Ali Kordelewski, Megan Carron and Rosary teacher Larry VanMersbergen. The choreographers include Rosary alumna Julie (Abner ’00) Donahue and Emily Leatherwood. The technical director is Rosary alumna Becky (Arbizzani '92) Barr.
Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Cameron Mackintosh and Disney's Mary Poppins delighted Broadway audiences for more than 2,500 performances and received nominations for seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
